An expository essay attempts to explain a topic in-depth, demonstrating expert knowledge and understanding.

This form of essay is structured around the clear, factual presentation of information, devoid of the writer’s personal opinions or arguments.

The primary goal is to inform or explain rather than persuade.

Unlike an argumentative essay, which is built around defending a particular point of view with evidence and persuasion, an expository essay maintains a neutral stance, focusing on delivering straightforward facts and explanations.

An example of expository writing could be an article explaining the process of photosynthesis.

The article would systematically describe each stage of how plants convert sunlight into energy, detailing the role of sunlight, water, and carbon dioxide.

It would explain the sequence of reactions – first, second, third, fourth, fifth – that occur and the importance of each step in supporting the life of the plant.

An expository essay generally follows this essay format:

An expository thesis statement doesn’t make an argument or try to persuade. It uses ‘is’ rather than ‘ought’ statements.

Is Obamacare ( Affordable care act) good or bad for the U.S?

Centers for disease control and prevention estimate that approximately two of every five persons of Hispanic ethnicity and one of five non- Hispanic blacks were “classified as uninsured” during both 2004 and 2008. Enormous impact that the ACA will have on helping racial and ethnic minorities afford health insurance coverage. At the same time the ACA represents an important step towards bringing the United States into compliance with its international treaty obligations to end racial discrimination in health care access. In 1992 by ratifying CERD, the United States committed itself to guaranteeing non-discrimination on the basis of race, color national and ethnic origin in the enjoyment of, among other things, public health and Medicare.

Give a little background on the topic 

• It was created in the year 2010, by our past president Barack Obama.
• Many American's are paying a lot for healthcare coverage.
• There are many points of view but, bad talk on the topic. There are even people talking

Thesis Statement 

• Many Americans have asked them self's if its worth paying a lot of money for health care insurance. Also, many people think that it takes away a humans rights to be told to get Healthcare insurance for any small or big company. If workers work full time then they should not have to pay for their own healthcare insurance, but the company should pay for all the workers. Many of the business men, have been complaining about this idea. It takes their human rights away because, they are actually being forced to get Health Insurance for other people and not them self's. Many Americans don't and won't understand that no matter what or who is the president of the U.S we will always have problems with the HealthCare system.

Transition Sentence

• Many of the issues discussed online have been misleading. Some people or even companies have posted a comment saying that they pay a certain amount, and that its too expensive. Well, the prices do depend, on how many workers and or how many family members.

BODY - SubTopic #1

Summarize subtopic #1

• Most of the critics for Obamacare are very poor towards the quality of it. Americans also believe that it's not bad but, we should fix the system on  how the affordable care act works. Even though there are many problems,  to some people it has actually worked. We are only focusing on the bad parts of it but, we have not focused enough on  how it works for some Americans with the Affordable Care act.

Supporting Evidence (use examples, statistics, quote/paraphrase experts, etc.)

• Three fourths, of the Americans have satisfaction with their Health Care.
• It has saved many families money around, $3,600 dollars a year.
• The Affordable Care Act has, covered many Americans but, some social medias there are many false information.

Analysis of information

• Many of the families with Obamacare, have said that they like how much they are paying and how, much coverage they get.
• "The affordable care act, covers a whole family, and it is not as expensive as before" American family says.

Connect to Thesis

• There is some proof that not every American dislikes the Affordable care act. In reality, I believe that the prices might depend on how many family members there are. The prices might be greater if you, have a larger family.
• "It's a total disaster." Donald Trump says. Out in the public, even globally many countries agree with now, our new President of the U.S. Many people do believe that it's a bad idea and, that we should fix our Healthcare Plans.

• The prices for ACA increase every year. Many Americans, with ACA are changing their health care. They are changing their healthcare because, they are either paying to much or it's not what they expected. American families that have ACA, complain about not having the right coverage for the whole family.
• "Many people have had the problems of the ACA changing their healthcare." A Human Right Lens on the Affordable Care Act.

• Many Americas with ACA have been having troubles with their healthcare plans. They are telling the congress to fix it.
• Many Americans with low- incomes can get the ACA. There is no segregation and or racism needed towards any American who want's to get ACA. Any one can get ACA doesn't matter the color or the race. The low- income people do pay less then any other American with a higher income.
• "The Trump administration is proposing changes to ObamaCare that the White House says should stabilize  insurance marketplace. But critics of the propos see big bumps ahead for consumers." Gary Waters said.  Trumps administration will change the market place rapidly. People who don't get work insurance will buy it on the Affordable Care act.

• Many of the problems we will have when we change the ACA will be dramatically drop. The Market places for insurance will have a difficult time getting customers to buy Health Insurance. The less amount of Americans that will not, have health insurance will drop. On the other and what will increase will be the amount of money people will pay. If their is less people there will be more fines and more money to spend on health Insurance.  
• " Could result in fewer health enrolless" said Sabrina Corlette. " As the fate of federal subsidies that help low-income consumers pay deductibles and other out-of-pocket costs.
• The controversial proposal by the Department of Health and Human Services drew letters from nearly 4,000 organizations and individuals during an unusually short, 20 day public comment period that ended in early March. Advocacy groups hate the proposal, saying it would wreck havoc by making it harder to get coverage.
• Obamacare has allowed a three-months before being granted new coverage, premiums could tally hundreds of dollars even more than $1,000. Insurers say a person with a bad knee, for example, might enroll and pay just long enough to get an expensive replacement, then stop paying premiums. “Only those who can rapidly come up with a possibly significant sum of money by a given deadline can be guaranteed access to coverage.” Families USA

• Its been getting hard for people to get Medicare. Not many of the Americans with low-income can get ACA.

• The topic about Obamacare is important because, we have to take action into our healthcare. Having to see if we can and if we are losing out human rights.

• Is Obamacare (ACA) really effecting many Americans with or without the healthcare plan? And is Obamacare effecting our healthcare for the future?
