He did not want to students to have to go through what he went through, so he shared some knowledge with them. Knowledge is about passing what the teacher knows, to the students. By doing this, teachers can prevent the students from making mistakes that they made. We, as teachers, have to share our knowledge with the students. By sharing useful knowledge, this can help them in the future. Jessie Stuart also had very good character, which is something that teachers can look to for an example.
